it is perfect size, nicely designed and sturdy with plenty of room, still small enough to carry without feeling bulky. The different depatments with zippers are very nice and handy to carry spare battery and the charger it is a must for a camcorder.5 stars. i got this bag for my sony HD camcorder. built to last.

Getting this bag is like driving to work everyday in an RV. Not recommended. This product kills all the sense of buying a tiny camcorder. Go for that. This bag was recommended when I purchased my Sony DCR-DVD610 and man, who does this kind of recommending.On one hand the product designers are burning away the midnight lamp trying to miniaturize things and squeeze in as much functionality as then can into as little space as possible.On the other hand, you have this gigantic bag which looks like it is good enough to carry the over the shoulder kind of massive camcorders that those TV guys walk around with. Where's the sense in that. I went down to Walmart and found a SONY bag which is actually designed for digital cameras but it perfect for small handycams.
I got my sony bag & it looks great. it was wrapped in brand new seal & the shipment wasn't delayed.
The main internal compartment can be divided with a velcro insert so that the compartment you create for the camcorder fits perfectly. The case is perfectly sized and has multiple compartments to carry and protect the camcorder and all the accessories that come with most camcorders, and even several additional accessories I purchased. That insert protects the camcorder from other accessories -- you don't want anything rubbing against the camcorder.
